Wet rocks, knotted ropes, general stores, lobster crates, stoic faces, blueberries, bouys, boats, campers and raincoats

The winters are long and cold the summers wild and beautiful. My daughter had the fortune to spend a month on Lake at the oldest girls camp in the country. The pine trees gave a fragrant and the needles cushioned the girls feet underfoot. A few summers latter we had the good fortune to be invited up to visit with friends in a small seaside community near Bangor. They wouldn’t want me to broadcast the name their paradise, just like people from Maine, they like to keep things private. But that is problem there is no end of beauty to be found in Maine in the summer or the dea of winter any trip “…” will bring magic to your life.
