Michelle Regan Schaffer is an illustrator, designer and painter with over 15 years of experience. She began her career in New York City as a book designer and later moved to Washington, DC to pursue a freelance graphic design career. While in DC, Michelle led a number of award-winning, high-profile design projects, including Cody Award-winning Maps, a CD collection for National Geographic. She also served as an in-house consultant for Discovery Communications in Silver Spring, Maryland. At Discovery, Michelle was the lead designer on the identity redesign of the Animal Planet network for all on-air and print materials.
Upon completing her MBA studies in sunny Malibu, Michelle joined Cushman & Wakefield in its Los Angeles office as a Senior Designer and was soon promoted to Art Director of National Marketing. During her time at C&W, Michelle was the recipient of the National Marketing Designer of the Year award and a member of the National Marketing Team of the Year.
Since starting her own studio, Michelle has maintained a successful freelance career applying her experience and education in marketing and design to the varying business needs of her clients. She now lives in a small country town outside of New York City with her two spirited daughters, Cavapoo puppy and husband.
